Carolina Socías is a Dominican - Colombian designer, born and raised in a multicultural family. Her work reflects her personal affinity towards culture, nature, migration and the people that surround her.

Living in Colombia, Socías realized the importance of craftsmanship as a way to preserve traditions. She added this as part of her brand essence, bringing the past into contemporary design. 

For more than 12 years, Socías has been part of the iconic Dominican fashion brand Jenny Polanco. She was mentored by Jenny herself for 8 years and is now the creative director of this emblematic heritage brand.

Alongside her work at Jenny Polanco, Carolina has established her coastal lifestyle brand: Carolina Socias Resortwear. What started as a swimwear brand is now a lifestyle brand that includes resortwear, beachwear, handbags and even home accessories. 

Her designs, rooted in Caribbean culture, seamlessly blend tradition with contemporary style. With hand-embroidered details, delicate crochet ruffles, and unique elements, each piece celebrates craft, culture, and conscious creation. 

Socías's work champions equal pay, sustainability, and the preservation of tradition, transforming functional art into empowering ensembles that honor heritage.
